PrivatePDFKit compiles its processing engine to WebAssembly and renders with the HTML5 Canvas API, both running natively inside the browser you already have open. When you merge a PDF, convert a document, or remove a background, every byte is read, transformed, and written back without a single network request leaving your machine. The server's only job is to send you the page — once.
